How To Get A Worthwhile Search Engine Placement Service
The overwhelming majority of us employ Search Engines when we want to find something or someone on the internet. The overwhelming majority of us also have an extremely short attention span whenever we’re on the web. For instance, respected research has recently stated that Search Engines are the source for seventy-five percent of new visitors landing on websites. Many Search Engine Placement Service Providers will tell you this.
On the other hand not so many Search Engine Placement Service providers will tell you that the same research states that only 60% of all searchers are prepared to scroll down even the first page. If they can not find what they want, they’d rather start a new search, probably on a different search engine rather than scroll. I know it’s strange & lacking common sense, but that’s how people behave when searching on the web.
Consider that for a moment, and just picture what that means on a typical Search Result Page on just about any Search Engine. The top of the Screen and the right hand side will be occupied by Pay Per Click adverts. That normally only leaves room for three or at most 4 organic search entries before the Searcher would need to scroll.
There’s a bit of cheering news in that eighty percent of searchers ignore the Pay Per Click adverts, and look at the organic adverts first. Nonetheless that’s tempered by the fact that only 28% of searchers are even prepared to go to page two, and they will only do that if they can’t find what they need on page 1.
Our firm just carried out some research on how many searches give a satisfactory result on page one of the Search Engine. We found that 92% of the searches we performed could be satisfied on Page one of Google. That leaves only 8% of searchers needing to go to page two. But bear in mind; only 28% of those who need to go to page two are prepared to do so. That leaves only two percent of searchers looking at page two, with similarly extreme drop-offs to pages three and beyond, leaving them with fractions of 1% of Searchers actually getting to them.
That’s why merely Improving Search Engine Ranking is not good enough. In terms of visitors, the difference between position 307,000 and position 45 is purely academic, and I’m often approached by people who have forked out thousands for just such an “improvement” in their Search Engine rankings. They simply don’t fathom why they aren’t getting any visitors. The answer’s uncomplicated: even with a very popular search term, the drop off from one page to the next is so enormous that only page one offers your website any reasonable exposure. Page two offers you a few crumbs, and page three may get you 1 or 2 visitors a year, but for most searches Page three onwards will give you at most a few visitors a YEAR!
That’s why you should only consider Guaranteed Top 10 Search Engine Ranking as a goal for your website and your Search Engine Placement Service Provider.
