If you are not on Facebook, you fundamentally don’t even exist, an acquaintance has told me some time ago. I am now starting to believe them. Social network sites give you an understanding into what your friends and work mates are doing. Keeping in touch is nearly hopeless without these websites.

Though don’t just think of these websites as a way of keeping up to date about the lives of friends. Another use of social websites is promoting yourself and drawing in business especially if you are a real estate agent. The times when a billboard or a tiny advertisement in a newspaper was enough for propagation of one’s work or business are long defunct and they will won’t come back. Using and publicizing on the internet is now the way to go with the times. If you browse the internet, you will find lots of articles with hints on how to use, and promote yourself, on social networking sites.

For older individuals who were not brought up with computers, it’s difficult to get used to using computers and to find their way round websites. For the older generation it is going to take time to learn, whereas children seem to know how to do it naturally. We stick with it and try our best to study it all. I surmise lots of of my fellow realtors have the same thoughts.

After working all day its not surprising we come home tired, so it’s difficult to sum up the energy to find interesting things to talk about on blogs or make posts on social websites such as facebook and twitter. It evolved into a part of our daily routine. Chilling out now means going on-line to get our social networking job finished. Is there people out there that are fascinated in our articles? Do individuals, other than fellow realtors, actually look at the articles we write? I guess we will never know for definite, will we?

I actually do examine the websites of my fellow real estate associates and I do read the articles they write, because the topics are of interest. Are these articles of any interest to individuals not involved in the housing market, that I can’t answer. By perusing colleagues blogs and websites, it doesn’t matter how often I see them, I am always up to date with their lives. I may truthfully state that thanks to social networking, I have gotten to know individuals I haven’t talked to for ages again. That sure is fantastic!

As a realtor I work with Toronto Condos, and I found social networking to be one of the key ways of attracting clients. Therefore I hope this short article did help you

Some people say that you want to be on Facebook or other social networking sites otherwise you don’t exist. I am now driven to agree with those people. Social network sites give you an awarenes into what your buddy’s and fellow workers are doing. It is almost impossible to keep in touch otherwise.

Nevertheless, staying informed about the life of your buddys and acquaintances surely is not the only intention of such websites. Let’s face it, real estate agents (and not only them, of course) also use such sites because they want to somehow help themselves, they want to bring in more people to use their services. With the rise of internet services, advertising in the newspaper or obtaining large billboards have nearly disappeared for good. Using and promotion on the internet is now the way to go with the times. On-line, (what a coincidence) you can come across lots of articles with instructions and working tips on how to use the phenomenon of social networking.

For older people who were not brought up with computers, it’s tough to get used to using computers and to find their way round websites. For the older individual it is going to take time to study, whereas youngsters seem to know how to do it naturally. We keep going and try our hardest to learn it all. Those ideas, I guess, are not just felt by me, but by many realtors out there.

After working all day its not surprising we come home weary, so it’s nearly impossible to sum up the energy to find interesting things to discuss on blogs or make posts on social websites such as facebook and twitter. Nevertheless, saying that it’s does start to be a part of our daily lives. Instead of sitting down in front of the TV, leisure now means sitting in front of a computer and writing on social networking sites. But does the population really cares about what we write? Do the public, other than fellow realtors, actually look at the articles we write? I suppose we will never know for certain, will we?

One way of keeping up with what fellow realtors are up to for me, is to look at their websites and read their features. For someone who is not connected to the housing market, I really couldn’t say whether these features would be of any interest. So now I don’t have to meet or talk to my colleagues often to know what is going on with their lives, I can read about it in their websites and posts. I may truthfully declare that thanks to social networking, I have gotten to know people I haven’t talked to for ages again. That sure is brilliant!

Professionally I sell Toronto Condos, and I consider social networking to be one of the key ways of making professional contacts. Hopefully this brief article did help you
